1. After assessing your current and future workforce demands along with knowing what training you require your entry-level workers to have, search our database of training partners to find the program that best fits your training needs, and reach out to their business services representatives to learn about customized training and recruiting strategies.


2. Now that you have a steady supply of local, skilled workers, let’s get them brought up to speed and ready for advancement. Many certification and training programs are eligible for up to 50% reimbursement of their costs.

On-The-Job Training

The On-The-Job Training (OJT) program is designed to assist local employers to hire, train, and retain employees in full-time permanent jobs. CareerSource Pasco Hernando will help pay up to 50% of your new hire’s wages, while they train with you! Employers may receive up to 50% wage reimbursement under the current Department of Labor waiver. The reimbursement may occur under this waiver when employers select new employees from a pool of existing and/or eligible candidates.

Employed Worker Training

In today’s prevailing and fast-paced workplace, employees find it necessary to frequently improve their job skills to stay competitive. Employers are encouraged to take advantage of CareerSource Pasco Hernando’s Employed Worker Training (EWT) Program to enhance your employees’ skills. The EWT Program is intended to provide financial assistance to employers that recognize the importance of investing in their employees. Studies show that employees recognize the value of attaining new skills. The attainment of these skills can lead to increased productivity and impact your bottom line. EWT grant funds are limited and are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
