Employers can post their non-job, career exploration opportunities - such as internships, apprenticeships, tours, shadowing, and more - on ConnectOPP, an opportunity board that connects employers with talent in Pasco County! The feature is easy to use, and you will see your opportunity posted to the website within one business day or less. Simply make an account and click "Post an Opportunity." Here are some useful tips to keep in mind as you create your first listings:

  • Add in content for as many fields as is relevant to your opportunity. For example, if "experience requirements" or "expiration date" aren't relevant, you can leave them blank. 
  • Include a contact email in the contact email field. This can be yourself or another person who will respond to interest submissions.
  • Add your website link or an important webpage in the website field so users can easily view your website.
  • When your listing is no longer active, you can manually switch it to "inactive," or you can preemptively set an expiration date for it to switch to automatically change to "inactive". Inactive listings are still visible on the public portal. 
  • You can edit your listing at any time! Simply, log into your account, go to "My Opportunities" and choose "Edit" next to the opportunity you would like to edit. 
  • ConnectOPP is solely for career exploration opportunities, so job postings are not permitted. However, if your business promotes on-the-job training for new hires, we can post your business, website link, and link to view jobs on your website under a mapping tool, Find Your Place in Pasco County.
  • We suggest that each employer only has one account, which can be managed by a single person at your company or shared among multiple people.
